On Friday August 20 in the early hours of the morning Tim Long president of the Student Government Association (SGA) of Jacksonville State University, was arrested for urinating in the side of the Brothers Bar parking lot. At the time of his arrest, Long was charged with exposure and lewd conduct.

The Jacksonville State Univeristy Gamecocks defeated Ole Miss in what ESPN is calling the "biggest upset in SEC history". Final score was 49-48, with the Gamecocks winning on a two point conversion in double overtime.
The Gamecocks had no turnovers and only 7 penalties.
